Talking Food's founder, Elke, began her career over 40 years ago when she trained as a chef.  On leaving college she took up a fast track management role with Pepsico, progressed to Hilton as a foodservice manager, spent many years as an area manager and sales manager in B&I, migrated to business development for a food manufacturer, and worked for a flavour house developing new business for accounts such as Diageo and British Bakeries.  After such an extensive career Elke's network and experience means the Talking Food team has an enviable understanding of the foodservice industry and its intricacies.
